Original equipment manufacturers & agricultural communities worldwide use temperature controls designed & manufactured by K-Kontrols. Our temperature controls are great for barns, greenhouses, livestock buildings, & more.
This line voltage thermostat is great for direct control of de-icers and other outdoor equipment during the colder months to prevent freezing. The line voltage freeze protection thermostat measures air temperature to turn on equipment when the temperature falls below a set point (0°F-80°F). Most manufacturers recommend setting the dial at 35°F to power on the equipment before the air temperature drops below freeze levels. They are as simple as plugging the thermostat into a standard wall socket (110/120 volt outlet). Then, plug any 110/120 volt appliance (heating or cooling) into the outlet on the plug of the thermostat. Set your desired temperature to turn the appliance on!
A graduated temperature control unit that can be used anywhere! Clear cover protects from weather and damage. Weatherproof and corrosion proof with all polycarbonate thermoplastic construction and stainless steel capillary sensor. Not effected by surges and lightning strikes or power outages like a digital thermostat.
Line voltage thermostats use a liquid-filled sensing element and capillary. There is an exposed or concealed temperature set point dial, and it will switch line voltages.
We take pride in quality control & reliable operation of our components. Every switch is individually tested before it leaves the plant. Products are designed, manufactured, tested & shipped from our facilities in Eau Claire, WI to clients across the globe.
